If you know some basic chords and are ready to play along lets start with something with a slow beat and an easy strum.

Check out the links on the bottom left of the page if you need to work on your chords or strum patterns

Pay attention to the chords listed above the lyrics to know when to change and use the image on the left if you have forgotten the finger placement.

I have to admit this is the 1st time I have ever seen play along tableture but I do love this song and if you'd like some practice playing tabs then check this out (note that the uke is shown as a mirror image or left handed player)

I had to post this because the "surprise guest" got me laughing (and it's a decent play along) ENJOY

You don't really hear the uke when this tutorial is playing but it does offer a good beat to strum to along with chord diagrams and lyrics

If you feel like your skills are improving and you want to try something a bit more challenging this song offers a play along version at different levels.

A bit of a challenge if you are ready to fly by ear and not sight... Here is one of my favorite Youtube songs by "blinktwice4y" Noted below are the chords used and the strum pattern. See how you sound playing with this guy.... Try and keep up. (Im still working on it)

CHORDS:

C G Am F

Em F

STRUM:

down down-up, up down-up

down down-up, up down-up and so forth.

On the first down, strum only the first two or three strings on the way down, this gives it a simpler cleaner first note, followed by a full strum of down and up.

Here is my fav fan video of the song. If MTV still played videos & Sam had been signed to a record label I suspect that this would have been his video. I am surprised that Nintendo hasn't tried to grab this up for Nickelodeon promotions of the game.... There is also a link to Sam's Original post in the info section of the video. Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGF-qMIMlbQ
